The frets are in great condition having been dressed in our workshop and still have plenty of life left in them. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. The headstock is also very clean with just a few very small dings around the edges. The neck is in fantastic condition with just some very minor playwear. There is light lacquer checking throughout the finish and a few small scuffs and dings. It's an amazing guitar to play and it sounds fantastic. The simple volume & tone controls allow for a no-frills approach to guitar playing. It has a maple neck and fingerboard with plastic button Kluson tuners. It's a short-scale (22.5") guitar with a C-profile neck. Released in 1956 as a student model these guitars along with the Duo Sonic became the starting point for many young guitarists. With the exception of the missing bridge cover and relined case, it's all original and complete, including the tan case. Desert Sand finish in excellent condition.
